Candidates who are already in Canada and still not eligible to get their PR status and do not qualify to apply to remain in Canada under any other existing Immigration programs may be able to request to remain in Canada permanently on Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds. Humanitarian and Compassionate ground (H&C) apply to people with exceptional cases.
